wind power


Measuring weather.

Definitions:

  1. Anemometer:
  2. Beaufort wind scale:

Anemometer

MATERIALS

  1. pencil  
  2.   tape
  3. stick
  4.   small plastic round disc
  5.   pin

STEPS

  1. use tape  set  small plastic round disc with stick,once stick use two  small plastic round disc.
  2.   same work and make other one 
  3.   cross and use tape set in the middle
  4.   use pin tie in the tape of middle
  5. the extra pin tie in a had rubber pencil

Group Investigation.

Groups size: 5 
Roles:

  • Timekeeper ( watch)
  • Counter
  • Recorder ( chromebook or refill )
  • Anemometer Manager ( Anemometer)
  • Wind Manager

Instructions:
  • Go to the measuring place and set up your wind gauge.
  • Make sure everyone in your group is ready to start their roles.
  • Record how many times it spins and record it in the table below.
  • Count the number of spins in 15 seconds.
  • Record it on your chart.

CONCLUSION:

Field is 15 because in there did't had the building ,and is a big place,the air can circulating wind just more than other place.
